I collected my pouches from the tailor today, and I am speechless.
I did not want something plain such as the pouches with the strings, where you pull them to close, I wanted something special, something that would fit my pipes.
I received precisely that!
The facts:
- Hand sewn button holes (not by machine)
- Strengthened fold over at the button (against pulling out)
- Flap made from 2 material layers
- All the seams and edgings have been sewed
- Even those inside!

look what i´ve found!
Aren´t they just perfekt?
In fact they are cufflinks, but I will take them apart and use them for my pipe pouches.
(Of course I will keep one pair for my dress shirts.)

after spending hours (at least it felt like hours) searching through rolls of cloth I found the right fabric for my pipe pouches.
Yes! My pipe pouches will be made of tweed.
